I went to Denny's this morning for the free Grand Slam. I arrived at 6:15 a.m. People were lining the sidewalks and the parking lot was full. I turned around and went down the street to Bob Evan's where I paid $5.99 for my breakfast.

I'm an incredibly indecisive person and I change my mind a lot because I get bored very easily. I've always been that way. Someone once told me that it's because I'm a Libra. Maybe it is, if you believe in that alignment-of-the-stars-on-the-day-you-were-born hoopla.

Lenny got me the Chelsea Handler book Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea!! I've been wanting it for like a month! It's a collection of satirical stories from Chelsea's life, beginning in her childhood. If you're not familiar with Chelsea Handler, she's a comedian who has a show called Chelsea Lately on E! I'm on chapter three and I'm itching to keep reading so badly that I can hardly wait to get home from work tonight to pick it back up!

He gets the awesome boyfriend award!

I'm going to a baby shower tonight for a girl that is a very close friend of our family and who I used to babysit. I support her entirely and I'm so incredibly happy for her. I hope that she has a safe delivery and I'm sure that she'll have a BEAUTIFUL baby girl.

But damn do I feel old! Believe me, I'm in no hurry to have children, but this is definitely a reminder of how quickly time flies. Someday I will have a family of my own. Someday when I stop being so selfish.

There's no place like home...

I just got back home from my yearly girls trip to North Carolina. It was a great week; I really needed to get away for a little while. But as wonderful as NC is, Ohio is home to me. I'm glad to be home and to sleep in my own bed and to get back to my regular routine.

I don't really have a whole lot of energy to do a big update right now, but I promise that I will soon (and maybe I'll include some pics, too).

My friend, Lori, blogged about this on her myspace: www.youngstownfilm.com/wednesdaycinema.html

Apparently, the old church next to the Butler in Youngstown shows indie movies, documentaries and classic films on Wednesday nights for a $5 entrance fee. Sounds kinda cool. If anyone is ever up for checking one out, let me know!

My friendly Enterprise Rent-a-Car salesman, Dan (yeah, I rent cars so frequently that we're on a first name basis), told me about two super websites where I can watch TV shows and movies without downloading anything. It often gets boring when I travel by myself, but I have a company issued laptop so I hate to download too much stuff. Anyway, he says that I can watch free streaming videos of movies and shows at: www.hulu.com and www.watchmovies.net.

Have you heard of these sites? I'm stuck in Columbus by myself tonight and I'm gonna check them out.

I apologize for the length of time that has elapsed since my last update, but as always, I've been very busy.

Kelly and I went to North Carolina a few weeks ago to visit Jenn. It was so beautiful and relaxing... I really didn't want to come home! Moving there after graduation is a DEFINITE possibility. We went to Wrightsville Beach, which is in Wilmington. It was the most beautiful beach I have ever been to. I have excellent pictures, but I cannot seem to figure out how to post them on here. All in all, it was an excellent vacation!

This past weekend, Dave and I went to Centerville to visit his sister and brother-in-law and their 3 kids. These kids are amazing! They are ages 14, 11, and 9, and just cute as hell! They aren't the type of kids who are quiet and shy... they're very outgoing! I love that! They made me feel right at home and like part of the family.

I'm going to Washington, D.C. next month for an American Marketing Association Conference. I'm really excited about it because I'm hoping to get some really useful information. Plus, I haven't been to D.C. in about 9 years, so I'm really just looking for to spending some time in the city again.

I know this has been a pretty brief update, considered the fact that 3 weeks have passed since I last updated. But I'm on the clock, so I really need to be getting back to work.

Until next time.......

In 10 more days I will be in sunny North Carolina! I can't wait.... I am very much in need of a vacation!

I'm thinking that I may move to North Carolina eventually. Yes, I have a really great opportunity here with my current company, but I don't really think this is where I want to be.
With Jenn and everyone being in town for the Easter holiday, it has been a freaking crazy week!

LAST FRIDAY - The whole gang went to Salsita's for dinner, where several of us drank too many margaritas and were highly intoxicated by 9pm. From there we headed to BW3's, The Gatsby, and finally ended the evening at Jolly Joe's. Everyone was drunk and silly and a fun time was had by all.

SATURDAY - Jenn, Jenn, Kelly, and I went to dinner at Cafe Capri. Then we went to PJ's and hung out there for a few hours. It was the first time we've all been together it about 6 months.

SUNDAY - Easter with my family, of course!!!

MONDAY - Lunch with Jenn and her little sister, drinks with Sara early that evening, and then dinner with Dave at Friday's later on in the evening (P.S. Dave is awesome!!!!!!!)

TUESDAY - Drove all the way to the Pittsburgh with Jenn for the Pirates game. I spend $18 on 3 beers, dammit. But hey, it tasted real good!

WEDNESDAY - Went to Stow to meet up with Jenn, Jenn, and Kelly for dinner at Moe's Southwest Grill. The burritos were to die for! By the way, Jenn and Ben got engaged on Easter. They're getting married next summer. It's freaking weird....

THURSDAY - Went to Penny Pitcher Night at Wiseguyz with Jenn, Nicole, Sara, EJ, and Farmer John. Penny Pitcher Night is always a good time. I drank a lot of beer and subsequently tripped over my own feet and fell during the Casper Slide.

So now I'm at work and I'm super tired. I actually can't wait for Jenn to go back to North Carolina so that I can actually get some rest!!!!

I'm not feeling so good.

Last night, about halfway through class, I suddenly felt very, very sick. I was nauseated, my head hurt, my entire body ached, and I had the chills really bad. So I went home last night, took a hot shower, and laid on the couch drinking some hot tea. I felt better within an hour or so.

But now, just within the last 2 hours, I've got the same symptoms again. I feel like complete shit. I honestly think I may be dying.

What a crazy week it's been!

I gave a seminar right here in Boardman last week. Since some of my business associates from out of town were here and staying the night, I decided to hang out with them for a little bit afterwards. (let me mention to you that most of these associates are old enough to be my parents, but they're still cool as hell!) We started off at the lounge at the Holiday Inn. We had a few drinks there and then decided to head on down to Jolly Joe's in Boardman because my Chad happened to be DJing there that night. As we were walking out of the hotel lounge, a guy sitting at the bar leaned back and said to me, "Hey, did you say you're going somewhere with karaoke?" So I, being the extrovert that I am, invited him along. I didn't really think he'd come, but I was just being polite.

Well whadda ya know, this guy actually showed up at Jolly Joe's! He's super cool! He's 28, from Pittsburgh, and he works for the government. He was in Youngstown on a business trip. So I ended up hanging out with him all night, drank a few beers, same some karaoke, and then we went and had a cup of coffee together. (Chad wasn't so happy about it, since, even though I've already explained to him that he can't have things both ways, he still is incredibly protective of me and he gets very, very jealous!)

So I got an email from Pittsburgh-guy earlier this week. It was real short, just basically saying that he's been on the road and been really busy, but he'll be in touch soon. I can't believe I actually met someone who is as much of a workaholic as I am. Not sure if that's good or bad.

I don't really have time in my life for new people right now, but the possibility of it still sounds exciting. Sometimes a girl just needs that kind of flattery every now and then.

I'm going to Tiffin tonight to give a seminar. This is the first time that I've given a seminar ALL BY MYSELF! I am actually not the least bit nervous about my presentation, what I'm more nervous about is making sure that all of my equipment (laptop, projector, speakers, etc) is working. If I don't get them set up correctly and they don't work, I just may freak out.

I let you know this weekend how everything went. :)

My boss (the Big Kahuna, President of our company) bought me a birdhouse. He said that my office has the best view in the whole building, so I should hang a birdhouse outisde of my window and see if any birds show up. I think this is a great idea!

So he gave me this birdhouse and I hung it outside of my office window last week.

Right now, I'm looking out the window and watching about 5 birds gathering around this birdhouse. One of them is a cardinal and it's absolutely beautiful!

The only thing is.... now I'm never going to get any work done! I'm going to be sitting here looking out the window at these damn birds all day long!!
